The loan portfolio of banks increased by 13 percent and exceeded 15.9 billion manat ($9.3 billion) in Azerbaijan from January through October 2021, Trend reports citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
This figure increased by 11 percent on an annual basis.
The loan portfolio of Azerbaijani banks amounted to 14.4 billion manat ($8.5 billion) from January through October 2020.
The business loans accounted for 9.3 billion manat ($5.5 billion), consumer loans - 4.3 billion manat ($2.5 billion), mortgage loans - 2.3 billion manat ($1.3 billion) in the structure of the loan portfolio.
