ASTANA, Kazakhstan, December 16. The volume of oil and gas condensate production in Kazakhstan amounted to 257,100 tons on December 15, 2023, Trend reports.

Gas production during the preceding period was 180.4 million cubic meters, according to government figures.

At the same time, on December 15, Kazakhstan's oil refineries processed 48,200 tons of oil.

Meanwhile, the volume of gas produced in 2022 was 53.3 billion cubic meters, or 103.1 percent of the expected volume. Commercial gas output totaled 27.8 billion cubic meters, or 94 percent of the expected total.

Kazakhstan's domestic commercial gas consumption was 19.3 billion cubic meters, or 107.2 percent of the plan for 2022, while exports were 4.6 billion cubic meters, or 85.1 percent of the plan.

The volume of liquefied petroleum gas produced (for the domestic market) was 2.8 million tons, or 98 percent of the anticipated total.

Concurrently, the volume of oil production in 2022 in Kazakhstan amounted to 84.2 million tons, or 101.6 percent of the planned figure. Oil exports in 2022 reached 64.3 million tons, or 103.4 percent of the plan.

Kazakhstan also intends to produce 90.5 million tons of oil in 2023, 71 million of which would be exported.
