ASTANA, Kazakhstan, September 5. In the month of July 2024, a whopping 67,000 transactions, amounting to a staggering 21.6 billion tenge (approximately $44.7 million), made their way to Kazakhstan from foreign lands through international money transfer systems, Trend reports.
The data from the National Bank of Kazakhstan shows that, compared to June 2024 (63,800 transactions worth 19.3 billion tenge), the number of money transfers received increased by 5 percent and the volume of transactions increased by 12 percent.
TOP five countries in terms of the amount of money transferred to Kazakhstan in July:

Meanwhile, the total number of money transfers through international money transfer systems (IMTS) in Kazakhstan amounted to 207,500 transactions worth 84.3 billion tenge (about $174 million) in July 2024. Compared to June 2024, there was an increase in the number of transfers by 0.5 percent and in the volume of transactions by 12 percent.
