BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 6. Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund has launched a project in the Naryn region to develop Kyrgyzstan's dairy industry, Trend reports via the press service of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKDF).
At-Bashy Sut, one of the largest dairy production plants in the Naryn region, has purchased 64 European breeding cows with the support of the RKDF. A dairy facility was also built and equipped with modern facilities for cow housing.
"The company did not have enough raw materials for the production of cheese and butter. The desire to reduce the deficit and ensure food security is the main point that attracted us to this project," Chairman of the Board of the RKDF Artem Novikov said.
RKDF project will help At-Bashy Sut to increase volumes of production of dairy products. The dairy complex will allow the company to cover its needs in raw materials by 30 percent, which in turn will provide new jobs in the Naryn region.
