BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 19. Tajikistan shared data on the amount of humanitarian assistance received from January through August 2022, Trend reports with reference to the asiaplustj.info
As reported, Tajikistan received over $100 million worth of humanitarian aid from 56 countries in eight months of this year, which is an increase of 60 percent over the same period in 2021.
During the reporting period, the US and China sent the bulk of the humanitarian aid to Tajikistan (33 percent of the total) and (28.7 percent) respectively.
Meanwhile, at the end of 2021, Tajikistan received humanitarian aid in the amount of $111 million from 62 countries.
