TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, July 11. Uzbekistan’s AGRO IN VITRO has implemented an Invitro laboratory and modern greenhouse project worth 113.7 billion soums ($8.9 million) in its Gallyaaral district of Jizzakh region, Trend reports.

According to Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade, the project's capacity is 2 million seedlings annually, and a total of 55 new jobs have been created.

The Agro In Vitro Scientific-Biotechnical Center is a leader in the production and supply of grapevine seedlings, stone fruit trees, and other healthy plants for a wide range of agricultural and landscaping projects.

The company is using cutting-edge In Vitro technology, which allows it to grow seedlings without the use of pesticides and herbicides.

Another good news is that some Korean companies presented information about the implemented and planned projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Uzbekistan's Karakalpakstan.

The Korean side discussed Karakalpakstan's 50-ton-per-day licorice waste biopellet energy generation project. To apply this experiment in Uzbekistan's Samarkand and Fergana regions, research is underway.
