Iran reveals export volumes of non-oil products via Parviz Khan customs

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 8. The export of non-oil products through Parviz Khan customs of Kermanshah province, located in western Iran, amounted to 1.32 million tons worth $438 million during the six months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through September 21, 2024), the Director General of Iran's Parviz Khan customs office Reza Ghorbani told reporters, Trend reports.

According to him, mainly fruits and vegetables, milk and dairy products, various metals, and construction materials were exported through Parviz Khan customs for six months.

Ghorbani added that 251,000 tons of non-oil products worth $1.39 billion were imported through Parviz Khan customs during the six months. The imported products were mainly equipment and spare parts.

The official noted that 3.15 million tons of products worth $1.57 billion were transported through Parviz Khan customs during the six months. The transit of products increased by 213 percent in value terms and 122 percent in weight terms compared to the same period last year (from March 21 through September 22, 2023).

The transit of products was mainly fuel oil, naphtha, technical oil, bitumen, etc.

Iran exported 70 million tons of non-oil products worth $25.8 billion during the six months. Compared to the same period last year, the export of products increased by 6.5 percent in value and 3.5 percent in weight.

To note, Iran imported $32.6 billion worth of non-oil products during the mentioned period.
