BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 16. The tax revenues in Iran for 3 months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through June 20, 2024) amounted to 1.95 quadrillion rials (about $4.98 billion), the statement of Iran's Tax Organization said, Trend reports.
The direct taxes amounted to 1.18 quadrillion rials (about $3.02 billion).
The services and products taxes amounted to about 545 trillion rials (about $1.39 billion).
The corporate tax payments on direct taxes amounted to about 813 trillion rials (about $2.07 billion).
The income tax on direct taxes amounted to 313 trillion rials (about $799 million).
The wealth tax on direct taxes amounted to 55.7 trillion rials (about $142 billion).
To note, Iran's tax revenues in the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2023 through March 19, 2024) totaled 8.06 quadrillion rials (about $192 billion). This figure increased by 70.6 percent compared to the previous Iranian year (from March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023).
