BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 19. Iran's Masjed Soleiman Oil and Gas Company plans to increase crude oil production in the first half of the upcoming Iranian year (from March 21 through September 22, 2025), Trend reports.
In this regard, an event attended by the Executive Director of the National Iranian South Oilfields Company Ibrahim Piramun, and other officials has been held at Iran's South Oil Fields National Company.
At the event, necessary solutions were discussed to remove obstacles to crude oil production, maintain production levels, and address related issues.
The CEO of Masjed Soleiman Oil and Gas Company Alireza Hayhavand said that in the first half of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through September 21, 2024), the company’s production increased by 20 percent compared to the same period last year (March 21 through September 22, 2023).
Hayhavand added that specialists have been working diligently on increasing the company’s production, and the plan for further production increases will continue.
To note, Iran’s Masjed Soleiman Oil and Gas Production Company operates under the Iran South Oil Fields National Company. The company oversees 492 oil wells, 16 production facilities, and four gas pressure stations. It has 12 oil fields and 23 oil reservoirs. The company’s production is reported to exceed 140,000 barrels per day.
