On April 2 the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received the Russian Federation's Minister of Transport Igor Levitin, the Kazakh Minister of Transport and Communication Abelgazy Kusainov and the Turkmen Minister of Railroad Transport Deryagulu Muhammetguliyev participated in the first meeting of Transport Ministers of Caspian countries, Azer Taj state news agency reported.
The first meeting of Transport Ministers of Caspian countries was organized at the highest level in Baku, the Russian transport Minister said.
The President Ilham Aliyev stressed importance of this first meeting of Transport Ministers of Caspian countries. The President stressed positive prospects for cooperation in transport sphere, implementation of important infrastructural projects in this sphere in Azerbaijan.
The President expressed confidence that this meeting will promote extension of Caspian countries' cooperation.
