The forces that have expressed their desire to hold mass protests have intensified in order to obtain from the U.S. and other countries the new aid, Deputy Executive Secretary of New Azerbaijan Party believes.
"The fact that Baku City Executive Power (EP) does not issue permits to the parties funded by abroad to hold protests in the areas requested by them, is absolutely correct decision," Deputy Executive Secretary of New Azerbaijan Party (NAP), MP Siyavush Novruzov said today at the meeting in Milli Majlis.
Musavat Party intends to hold a rally in the city center. Baku City Executive Power has not provided the opposition party with permission to hold a meeting in the area requested by it.
According to Novruzov, these parties, wishing to hold rallies, are destabilizing forces.
"We strive to ensure the safety of citizens. But you want to put their lives at risk by holding the rallies," Novruzov said.
