Once again unverified information that caused observers' surprise leaked into the media outlets. Earlier, Armenian media outlets distorted words of officials, including OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs, but this time Russian agency Regnum distinguished itself."

In Stanislav Tarasov's article, published in early April by the agency, the author referred to the well-known politician, a leading expert on Russia, Eurasia, and international energy security of The Heritage Foundation (USA), Ariel Cohen, who allegedly told about the forthcoming document that Armenian and Turkish sides will sign in the near future.

In particular, the article says: "According to American analyst Ariel Cohen, Washington prepares a new Turkish-Armenian "Road Map", to be signed by Yerevan and Ankara. However, details of this draft have not yet announced."

However, Cohen was much surprised to hear about Tarasov's article. "I discussed the possibility of concluding such a treaty, but certainly not with the agency "Regnum" and not with Tarasov, whose name I heard for the first time," Cohen told Trend by over phone from Washington.

According to him, it is known only that Erdogan and Sargsyan will meet in Washington Apr.12, but whether they will sign a "road map" is unknown.

"I think they will not sign, although the President Obama would like it. But the agency "Regnum" should verify information before publication," Cohen said.
