Ruling New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary Ali Ahmedov believes the Washington Post newspaper uses elements of pressure.
"It would be better if the Washington Post published an article about the occupation of Azerbaijani lands by Armenians, the Armenian aggression that lasts for over 20 years and about a million IDPs. Then we would have seen that the paper's position is fair. So far, no one thought about the publication of opposition party leader Ali Kerimli's article in the Washington Post," he said. "But it is highly regrettable that at a time when Azerbaijan and Turkey is under pressure, this article was chosen as part of the pressure."
The Washington Post published an article by chairman of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan Ali Kerimli.
Ahmedov said the only thing that is important for each politocian - is to rely on his people, voters and hope for them.
"People who intend to come to power relying on some forces outside the country, of course, have nothing to give their people" he added.
