The US government doesn't plan to send a special mission to Azerbaijan for the observation of the upcoming presidential elections, employee of the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan Jonas Stewart told Trend on Friday.
An observation group consisting U.S embassy staff will conduct monitoring.
Presidential elections in Azerbaijan will be held on October 9.
Previous presidential elections were held on October 15, 2008.
Presidential elections in Azerbaijan are held each five years.
