Azerbaijan has been a great support to Turk-Cypriots, and this support continues. This Country was the first state after Turkey to give permission to launch the direct air flights with Lefkosha, and this support continues despite pressure from the EU. Kyrgyzstan demonstrates a similar position, Mehmet Ali Talat, President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus said during the 10th Congress of Turkic States and National Entities held in Antalya at present, Trend reports.

During the days when the international community is reconsidering its attitude toward Northern Cyprus, the Turkic States should strengthen and consolidate their ties with the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. According to Mr Talat, the Turkic

States and its communities should demonstrate solidarity within their positions and take its rightful place on the World political arena. Every hour Turks-Cypriots feel the support and understanding of the entire Turkic World. And we do our utmost to reciprocate in this respect, said Mr. Talat and pointed out that despite the reconsideration of the position toward Turk-Cypriots, the regime of the international isolation of the community still remains. Unfortunately this restricts our relations with the Turkic States and its communities. We just want to restore our rights, pointed out the President of Northern Cyprus.

In conclusion Mr. Talat showed his satisfaction at the level of the development of relations with the Turkic States, and expressed a hope that this co-operation will be expanded even more in the future.
