Students of the Baku branch of Moscow State Open University can be transferred to private colleges, Education Minister Misir Mardanov said.
"After reviewing the matter with relevant agencies in the government, a decision to transfer students of the Baku branch of Moscow State Open University to private colleges. The activity of the Baku branch of the University was suspended," minister told media.
He said that diplomas of graduates of this university will be recognized, if they are legitimate.
Baku branch of the Moscow State Open University was opened on the basis of the Azerbaijani-Russian intergovernmental agreement. Later, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Education has decided to close the representation.
