According to the preliminary data, the total amount of foreign investments to the Azerbaijani economy in 2010 hit $8.2 billion, which is 50.8 percent more than the same period of the year before last, the State Statistics Committee said.
The share ofdirectinvestmentshit43.8percent, or $3,614.9million,andin theform offinancialloansthe countryreceived$3,405.9million(41.3 percentof totalinvestments).
Directinvestments in the country'snon-oilsector, increasingby 5.6percent comparedto 2009reached$659.6million.
