Trend:
Iran is expected to export Shiller minibus and trucks to Iraq, said the CEO of Bahman Diesel Group Mohammad Mohammadi, Trend reports via ILNA.
"The necessary negotiations have been discussed with Iraq and Syria in this regard and soon the first cargo will be sent to these countries," said Mohammadi.
"Although Iran's auto industry was sanctioned by the US, but it has recovered from the short term shock and we are witnessing mass production of public transportation vehicles," he added.
"The banking obstacles and limitations that were caused by the sanctions, have created problems for Iran's private sector, while time suspension for issuing more plate numbers have led to losses," he said.
"Bahman Diesel is expected to produce 144 Shiller minibus and trucks and delivers them to customers in the next Iranian year (begins March 21, 2020), which would be a 200-percent increase compared to the current year (began March 21,2019)," he said.
