Tehran Securities Exchange has sold 9.2 billion shares valued more than 3.9 billion rial (about $94 million) since the start of current Iranian year (began March 21, 2019).
At the beginning of this Iranian year, the security exchange index was 178,659; it has reached 459,080 units at the moment that indicates 157-percent growth, Trend reports referring to Iran's Securities and Exchange News Agency (SENA).
In past 214 days, about 961.2 billion shares were sold; the primary market index had 147-percent growth and secondary market index increased by 174 percent.
The investors have purchased 0.9 million debt securities in past week valued 931 billion rial (about $22 million). Starting from the beginning of current Iranian year, 79.8 million debt securities exceeding 77.3 billion rial (about $1.8 billion) have been purchased.
Last week, derivatives market has traded 240,000 contracts worth 75 billion rial (about $1.7 billion).
Since beginning of the year, investors purchased more than 217 million contracts valued 1.9 billion rial (about $45 million).
