The ties of Iran and Ukraine have a lot of capacity, and the economic ties will develop successfully, Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Yevgeny Yenin, Trend reports citing IRNA.
"Ukraine established diplomatic relations with Iran in 1992, and we've reached considerable progress since then, and our economic and commercial ties are developing," Yenin said.
"Friendly relations between Ukraine and Iran have historical depth that was founded after Ukraine independence. A substantial legal and contractual basis has been established and, economic ties would develop successfully. We also have cooperation in education," he said.
Yenin admits that the relations between the two countries have big potential for further development.
"There are obvious challenges, and I am sure that we could overcome all the challenges by cooperation and relying on good will, friendly relations," said Yenin. "The current year would certainly lead to comprehensive progress in our relations."
