State Agency for Standardization, Metrology and Patient of Azerbaijan will hold the competition for determining prizes in the sphere of quality (production and service providing) among the CIS countries (Commonwealth of Independent States).
The decision on conducting the competition was made by the Council of Governmental Heads of CIS, Trend reports.
The competition will be held in two phases. The first phase will be held national bodies of CIS member-countries. Those desired to participate should submit documents regarding the quality and the application for participation to the State Agency no later than 31 October 2006.
The Agency will determine the winners on 1 January 2007 and they will be presented prizes.
For the participation of the winners in the second phase of the competition, the Agency will forward relevant information and documents to the interstate council.
The second phase will be held under organizational council that will announce the winner among CIS countries in December 2007. The competition is held once a year.
