Georgia to mull gas terminal project

The Georgian government will hold a meeting in Kutaisi to discuss a Georgian-Azerbaijani-Romanian agreement on gas supplies.

Energy Minister Alexander Khetaguri will submit a draft memorandum on gas supply cooperation, which will soon be signed with Romania, Georgia and Azerbaijan, the Georgian prime minister's spokesman Niko Mchedlishvili told Trend .

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili will also attend the Kutaisi meeting.

Fourteen issues were included in the meeting's agenda. In addition to several state regulations and laws, the meeting will consider reforming the educational system. The government will be informed about projects to be implemented in 2010. Culture, Sports and Monuments Protection Minister Nikolai Rurua will report on a Georgian film restoration project.
