Bakielektrikshebeke (electricity sale and distribution in Baku) bought 2.35 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity in February from Azerenergy (production and distribution of electricity in the regions of Azerbaijan) compared to about 2.4 billion kilowatt-hours in January-March, the company reported.
The company bought over 7.92 billion kilowatt-hours in 2010 compared to 8.1 billion kilowatt hours in 2009 from Azerenergy.
Bakielektrikshebeke bought 794.4 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity in March from Azerenergy compared to 786.4 million kilowatt-hours in March 2010.
Bakielektrikshebeke paid on average 83.6 percent in the first quarter for electricity from Azerenergy compared to more than 77.36 percent in January-March.
In 2010 this figure hit 96.2 percent compared to 84.44 percent on average in 2009.
