Iran has increased the capacity of oil fuel reserves by one billion liters.
The strategic oil fuel reserves has reached 11.5 billion liters which can meet domestic demand within 60 days without producing or importing oil, Mehr News Agency reported.
Iran aims to increase this figure to 17 billion liters so that strategic fuel reserves could ensure supplies within 90 days.
Iran has launched several new oil reservoirs in Gasr-e Shirin, Eslamabad, Qom, Ardabil, Shahr-e Kord, Chabahar and Semnan cities since last week.
