In 2015, polyethylene production in Azerbaijan will increase to 120,600 tons compared to 72,200 tons in 2011, a draft state budget for 2012 and subsequent three years submitted to the Azerbaijani Parliament says. In 2010, Azerbaijan produced 52,800 tons of polyethylene.
In 2012, the volume of polyethylene production will hit 99,500 tons compared to 106,900 tons in 2013 and 113,800 tons - in 2014.
Azerbaijan will launch polypropylene production in 2014, the draft state budget says. In 2014 and 2015, production of this chemical product will be respectively 58,300 and 61,800 tons.
