The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) exported 323,000 tons of oil in January 2014 from the port of Supsa compared to 242,340 tons in January 2013, SOCAR said on Feb. 4.
Some 2.73 million tons of oil were exported from Supsa in 2013 compared to 2.74 million tons in 2012, according to the report. Oil is delivered to Supsa through the Baku-Supsa oil pipeline.
The operator of the Baku-Supsa pipeline is the Azerbaijan International Operational Company (AIOC).
