BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 16. Azerbaijan exported over 14 million tons of crude oil and oil products worth more than $9 billion from January through July 2024, Trend reports, referring to the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.
With 5.6 million tons valued at over $3.6 billion, Italy topped the list of Azerbaijani oil imports. Israel came in second with 1.8 million tons worth $1.1 billion, and the Czech Republic came in third with above 941,700 tons worth more than $597.1 million.

The three pipelines that carry Azerbaijani oil to neighboring nations and global markets are Baku-Novorossiysk, Baku-Supsa, and Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC). Baku-Supsa pipeline transportation is currently halted.
Furthermore, oil is exported by rail to terminals in Batumi and Kulevi (Georgia).
