The number of passenger planes landed at and took off from Iranian airports increased by 36 percent, during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through September 22, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, which was reflected in the statistics of Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company (IAC), Trend reports.
According to the statistics, more than 160,000 flights were carried out through Iranian airports within 6 months. Meanwhile, in the same period last Iranian year, the figure stood at 118,000.
