BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 20. The assets of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan increased from January through August 2022, Trend reports with reference to the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan.
As of August 31, 2022, the assets of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan reached 336.1 billion soms ($4.1 billion), which is an increase of 11.6 percent over the same period in 2021.
The growth of the assets of the National Bank was mainly due to the growth of gold volumes by 57.4 percent, as well as non-monetary gold and its reserves by 3.2 times.
Notably, as for September 20, the official exchange rate set by the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan is 81KGS/1USD.
