TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, February 17. Analysis of industrial output differentiation per capita showed a significant excess of the national average indicator (18 million soums or $1,439) in Uzbekistan, Trend reports.
The excess of the national average indicator was observed in Navoi region - (95.3 million soums or $7,620), Tashkent city (41.2 million soums or $3,294) and Tashkent region (34.9 million soums or $2,790) in 2023.
In the structure of production, the largest specific weight falls on the enterprises of manufacturing industry (84.4 percent), the volume of production of which amounted to 553.3 trillion soums ($44.2 billion).
The volume of mining and quarrying industry amounted to 55.2 trillion soums ($4.4 billion) with a specific weight of 8.4 percent. Electricity supply, gas, steam and air conditioning amounted to 44.3 trillion soums ($3.5 billion), while water supply, sewerage, waste collection and disposal amounted to 3 trillion soums ($239.9 million). The specific weight amounted to 6.7 percent and 0.5 percent, respectively.
Meanwhile, according to preliminary data, Uzbek enterprises manufactured 655.8 trillion soums ($52.4 billion) worth of industrial products in 2023.
As per data of Uzbekistan's Statistics Agency, the index of physical volume of industrial production amounted to 106.0 percent year-on-year.
