TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, January 22. In January
2025, Uzbekistan's industrial output per capita reached 1.5 million
soums ($116), Trend reports via the country's Statistics Agency.
In the Navoi region, the metric reached 12 million soums ($1,003),
while in Tashkent city, it was recorded at 3.3 million soums
($278), and in the Tashkent region, the figure stood at 2.7 million
soums ($224).
The predominant segment within the production matrix is attributed
to manufacturing entities, accounting for 79.1 percent, with an
output magnitude of $3.7 million.
As of January 2025, the predominant contributors to the aggregate
industrial output within the republic were Tashkent city,
commanding an 18.2 percent share, followed by Navoi region at 23.3
percent, Tashkent region with 14.8 percent, Andijan region at 6.0
percent, Fergana region contributing 4.8 percent, and Samarkand
region with a 4.6 percent stake.
Compared to the same period in 2024, the average indicators of industrial production across the republic increased, particularly in Namangan (110.8 percent), Khorezm (110.7 percent), Navoi (110.3 percent), and Tashkent city (110.2 percent).
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan's enterprises manufactured industrial products worth 55.8 trillion soums ($4.3 billion) in 2024. This figure has increased by 34.4 percent year-on-year (659 trillion soums, or $51 billion in 2023).
