The Foreign Ministry advised Iranian citizens on Wednesday to defer nonessential travel to Britain, citing intensifying unrest in the northwestern European country, Mehr reported.
In the travel alert, the ministry also recommended that Iranian nationals residing in Britain not attend the scenes of unrest.
Violence, which erupted in Tottenham district on Saturday, has spread across some other parts of Britain.
