Iran voices export volume of non-oil products from Kermanshah Province

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 13. The export of non-oil products from Kermanshah Province, located in western Iran, amounted to 1,670 tons worth $854 million during 3 months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through June 20, 2024), the customs inspector of Iran's Kermanshah province, Ali Asghar Abbaszadeh said, Trend reports.

According to him, exports of non-oil products from the Kermanshah region increased by 7 percent in value terms during 3 months compared to the same period last year (from March 21 through June 21, 2023).

The official did not comment on the increase or decrease in the weight of non-oil exports from the province.

Abbaszadeh noted that 688,000 tons of non-oil products worth $269 million were exported through Parvizkhan customs during 3 months.

He stated that 381,000 tons of products worth $249 million were exported through Khosrov customs of the province.

The customs officer added that 411,000 tons worth $233 million were exported through Sumar customs, 126,000 tons worth $88 million through Sheikh Sale customs, and 63,000 tons worth $14 million through Shushmi customs.

He emphasized that the exported products are mainly fittings, ceramics, fruits and vegetables, construction materials, milk and dairy products, as well as rubber products.

To note, according to the statistics of the Iranian Customs Administration, Iran exported 38 million tons of non-oil products worth $13.5 billion in the first 3 months of the current Iranian year. Iran's non-oil exports decreased by 7.6 percent in value and 5.6 percent in weight compared to the same month last year.
