BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 8. The export of non-oil products via the Kermanshah Province customs in western Iran has increased by 17 percent in value and 10 percent in weight during ten months of the current Iranian year (from March 20, 2024 through January 19, 2025) compared to the same period last year (March 21, 2023, through January 20, 2024), the controller of Iran's Kermanshah Province customs Ali Asghar Abbaszadeh told local media, Trend reports.
According to him, 6.51 million tons of products worth $2.85 billion were exported through the Kermanshah Province Customs during ten months.
Abbaszadeh added that during ten months, 2.4 million tons of products worth about $810 million were exported through Parviz Khan customs, 1.6 million tons worth $778 million through Khosravi customs, and 1.55 tons worth $729 million through Sumar customs of Kermanshah Province.
The official noted that Sheikh Sele Customs of the province exported 558 tons of products worth $461 million while Shushami Customs exported 333 tons of products worth $38 million during ten months.
He stated that the province's customs mainly exported hardware, ceramics, fruits and vegetables, construction materials, milk and dairy products, rubber products, and disposable tableware.
To note, Iran's exports of non-oil products totaled 127 million tons worth about $47.8 billion during ten months of the current Iranian year. Iran's exports of non-oil products increased by 18 percent in value and 12 percent in weight during the nine months compared to the same period last year.
