Georgia will receive an additional credit line of 140 million euro from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Georgian Economy Minister Vera Kobalia, who participates in the annual meeting of the EBRD, told reporters on Friday.
It was noted during the meetings in the office of the Bank that 40 million euro of these funds will be directed to the development of agriculture, 100 million euros - to energy projects and to ensure financial stability in Georgia, the Minister said.
"These are the first results of our negotiations. We also intend to meet with investment banks as part of our participation in the annual meeting of the EBRD," Kobalia said.
Minister of Finance of Georgia Dmitri Gvindadze noted that investment opportunities of Georgia will be presented during the meeting.
