Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Mohammed Badie was interrogated by prosecutors Tuesday and remanded in custody for 15 days, dpa reported.
Prosecutors questioned Badie in Tora prison, southern Cairo, on charges of involvement in the killing of demonstrators at the presidential palace in December.
They also interrogated him on suspicion of incitement to storm a Republican Guard facility after the deposition of former president Mohammed Morsi in uly.
