Riots broke out in Liverpool, Manchester and other British cities earlier Tuesday after plaguing London for three consecutive nights, Xinhua reported.
Liverpool police said they were responding to "a number of isolated outbreaks of disorder," including vehicles set ablaze and buildings attacked in the city's southern neighborhoods.
In Birmingham, where riots erupted Monday, police confirmed the arrest of some 100 people as youths ran amok in city center overnight, smashing shop windows and looting merchandise.
There were also latest new reports of cars being damaged in Manchester.
Violence continued Monday evening in several parts of London for the third night, including Hackney in the east and Lewisham and Peckham in the south.
The wave of riots first started Saturday night in London's Tottenham following a protest over the death of a 29-year-old man during police raid on Thursday.
