A university laboratory blasted on Sunday in east China's Jiangsu Province, leaving one student dead and four others injured, Xinhua reported.
The blast occurred around 12:40 p.m. at China University of Mining and Technology in Xuzhou City. The four injured are being treated.
Police are looking into the cause of the accident.
