The growth in market of information and communication technologies of Azerbaijan in 2011 will remain at 30-35 percent, Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan Vidadi Zeynalov told Trend on Saturday.
"This figure is typical for the Azerbaijani market. This tendency is tracked in the country over the past few years," said Zeynalov.
According to authorities, in first half year, the amount of income in the ICT sector and postal services, increased by 15.8 percent compared with the same period of 2010 and reached 591.8 million manat.
The revenue of the ICT sector and postal services in GDP of Azerbaijan in first half year was 1.8 percent, in non-oil sector GDP - 3.8 percent.
