Today, Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze will meet with U.N. General Assembly Chairman Ali Triki during his visit to the United States.
Georgia's Foreign Ministry said Vashadze held a number of meetings in New York April 14-16. The Georgian delegation held bilateral meetings with the heads of the permanent missions to the U.N. of Australia, the United States, New Zealand, Germany, the UK, Ethiopia, Spain, India, Colombia, Costa Rica, Pakistan, Paraguay, Peru, Chile and France.
The FM also met with representatives of the African Union, EU, the Caribbean basin countries, GUAM and the League of Arab States.
Vashadze also met with U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon and the UNHCR representative Udo Yanz.
