Uzbek President Islam Karimov received credentials from Ambassadors of Kuwait Halaf Midjbal Buzahir, Tajikistan Muzaffar Huseynov, Ukraine Yuriy Savchenko and Poland Marian Przezdziecki on March 31, the Local media reported.

Karimov, receiving credentials, congratulated diplomats with their appointment and wished them success in their mission to Uzbekistan.

At the ceremony, Buzahir said he would make every effort to expand bilateral ties during his mission to Uzbekistan.

The Tajik diplomat stressed that he would make all necessary efforts to further develop and strengthen Tajik-Uzbek relations.

"Ukraine is interested in developing political, trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian ties with Uzbekistan," Savchenko said, adding that he intends to pay attention to more efficient use of the two countries' prospects for further enhancing bilateral cooperation.

Przezdziecki considers it necessary to focus efforts on strengthening trade and economic relations and increasing bilateral trade. "Poland and Uzbekistan have all the opportunities for effective development of mutual cooperation," Przezdziecki said.
