BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 9. Azerbaijan's oil output is projected to stand at 0.66 mb/d per day in 2025, Trend reports.
The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) has adjusted its forecast for the country's oil production, increasing it by 0.01 mb/d compared to its previous assessment.
At the same time, Azerbaijan's oil production is expected to rise by 0.05 mb/d from an estimated 0.61 mb/d in 2024.
The country is projected to produce 0.64 mb/d in the first quarter of 2025, with further increases to 0.65 mb/d in the second quarter. The EIA anticipates additional growth to 0.67 mb/d in both the third and fourth quarters of the next year.
For 2024, the EIA projects Azerbaijan to achieve 0.61 mb/d in the third quarter, stabilizing around 0.62 mb/d in the fourth quarter.
Meanwhile, from January through May 2024, Azerbaijan's oil production, including condensate, totaled 12 million tons, marking a decrease of 0.7 million tons compared to the corresponding period in 2023. Similar to last year, the country is expected to produce over 30 million tons of oil and condensate in 2024.
