ASTANA, Kazakhstan, May 14. The Akmola region administration of Kazakhstan is actively supporting grain exporters, focusing efforts on expanding its presence in foreign markets, including both near and far abroad countries, Trend reports.
In February of this year, a bilateral memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Akmola region and the "Muuga Grain Terminal" in Estonia. This agreement has opened new opportunities for farmers in the region, providing the chance to export grain through the Estonian terminal to Europe.
In 2025, two enterprises from the region already exported 5.600 tons of grain to Italy. Of this volume, 1.600 tons were shipped through Estonia by the company "Commonwealth Trade East."
This is the first step in strengthening cooperation with grain and other agricultural exporters, and the partnership continues to develop, opening new opportunities for farmers in the Akmola region of Kazakhstan.
