Azerbaijan, Baku, 21 April / Trend / The State-run Agency on Standardization, Metrology and Patent of Azerbaijan canceled the accreditation license of certification body on foodstuff and raw products of Azerbaijani Engineering Academy.
Serious shortcomings were revealed in the body as a result of the examination held in April. Therefore, the agency made decision to cancel the accreditation license issued in August 2007.
State Agency on Standardization, Metrology and Patent of Azerbaijan was established by the President order in December 2001.
Agency is a central body of the Executive Administration, which holds standardization, metrology, certification and protection of industrial property of entities.
