Arman Dunayev was made chairman of the BTA Bank Board of Directors, Press Secretary Adil Dosimov said.
"Former Chairman of the Board of Directors at Astana Finance Saduakas Mameshtegi and Chairman of the Samruk-Kazina National Welfare Fund Rakhimov Seitakli are also now on the board," Dosimov said.
Dunayev said 212 billion tenge were transferred to the Kazakh National Bank from Samruk-Kazina on Feb. 2.
The BTA group is a leading banking network in the CIS. The bank's consolidated assets in the third quarter of 2008 were a 2.814-trillion tenge loan portfolio. Its consolidated net profit in the quarter was 35.2 billion tenge.

The bank has a developed subsidiary network in Kazakhstan and expanded ATM network.
