Supply in Baku's car market increases by 10 percent

The supply in the automobile market of Baku in April increased by 10.4 percent, "Property Market Participants" public organization said.

According to the information, as a result of increasing the supply in the car market in April, there is still a tendency of exceeding the supply over real demand.

The increase in the dynamics of concluding the purchase-sale deals was observed during a month. It did not affect the significant impact on the prices . The average price on a car increased by 0.3 percent in the market compared to last month. It hit $15,115.

The activity of the car market in April also affected the property exposure term. It reduced by 4.2 percent uo to 5 1 days .

The organization monitored the secondary car market in April. It monitored more than 10, 400 vehicles, of which only 24.5 percent were represented in the market in April and 75.5 percent remained from the previous month s. It is connected with the reduction in imports, the purchasing ability and a sharp drop in demand. Over the last three months, the mass flow of old cars to the market declined significantly. It stopped the sharp rise in the supply.

The volume of proposals of Mercedes cars , which keeps the leading position in the secondary market , increased by 1.8 percent in April compared to March. The share of cars of this brand in the market is 30.3 percent.

About 86.2 percent falls to t he share of nine car brands in the market portfolio, the remaining 13.8 per cent fall s to more than 80 brands of over 20 autocompanies.

According to the report, experts think that although the main part of the cars proposed to the car market now falls to old car s, the cars made after 2003 will have advantage in the nearest future .
