Azerbaijani producer of canned food Oz Dad intends to export the products, namely, compotes and pickles, to the neighboring countries, a source in the company told Trend.
“We have expanded the range of this type of products and intend to increase the production volumes,” the source said. “The products are sold on the domestic market, but at the same time, the company plans to export the products to the neighboring countries.”
“We consider Russia as a potential market,” the source said. “For this purpose, we are negotiating with Russian partners. Presently, the biggest volume of products accounts for fruit juices and compotes. Pickles, jams and bell peppers salad (lecho) are produced in small volumes."
“The company plans to increase the production volumes by 25-30 percent till the end of the year to begin to export the products this autumn,” the source added.
"We intend to supply small volumes, but we will gradually expand both production volumes and the volumes to be exported outside the country," the source said.
Oz Dad company has been operating in the local market since 2017.
The company is located in Baku’s Zira settlement.
