As many as 188 facilities in the education sector, including universities and higher education institutions, have been put into operation in Iran today on May 6, Trend reports citing IRINN.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and other officials attended the opening ceremony in an online format.
According to the report, these facilities have been put into operation to increase education, welfare, and technical capabilities in universities.
So, 107,000-square meters 34 educational institutions, 25,000-square meters 23 research institutions, 17,500-square meters 14 facilities for technical and vocational universities, and other facilities were put into operation.
A total of 23.7 trillion rials (about $565 million) was spent on these facilities.
With the operation of these facilities, 905 jobs have been created.
