Iran's Reshadat oil field will increase production by 10,000 barrels of crude oil per day in the subsequent days and predicts to increase the production to 35,000 barrels per day by the end of current solar year (started on March 20, 2011), SHANA reported quoting Reshadat platform head Fariburz Araki as saying.
"By completing Reshadat oilfield early production project the production rate here will increase by 10,000 barrels per day," he said.
Araki noted by completing other platforms and increase of oil wells the production will surpass 35,000 barrels per day by the end of this year.
By the end of the Fifth Development Plan (2010-2015) the production in Reshadat oil field is predicted to reach to more than 70,000 barrels of oil.
The Iranian Offshore Oil Company has installed new excavations for 28 new oil wells in Reshadat oil field while 60 percent of developing process finished.
Reshadat oilfield is located 110 kilometers southwest of Lavan Island. Once all the phases of the field become operational by 2012, some 75,000 barrels would be added to Iran's total daily oil production.
