BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 22. Income from information and communication services provided to the population in Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan increased by 3.2 percent in the first half of 2022 compared to the same period last year and exceeded 52.3 million manat ($30.7 million), Trend reports citing Nakhchivan’s State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, revenues from mobile communication services in Nakhchivan amounted to about 42.5 million manat ($25 million), during the reporting period, an increase of 1.8 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
In the reporting period, Nakhchivan's GDP increased by 2.7 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
The GDP per capita from January through November 2022 increased by 3.8 percent year-on-year and amounted to 5,911 manat ($3,480).
